Privacy Policy

What we collect

Anonymous submissions: Compensation data you submit (specialty, employer, location, salary, benefits). Not linked to your identity when displayed publicly.

Account information: If you create an account, we store your email address via Clerk, our authentication provider. Your account lets you manage your own submissions.

Uploaded documents: If you use our offer letter parsing feature, the document is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for extraction and then discarded. We do not permanently store uploaded documents.

Usage data: Standard server logs (IP addresses, request paths, timestamps) retained for security and debugging purposes.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not display your name or any identifying information publicly.
• We do not share your email address with employers or recruiters.
• We do not use your data to train AI models.

Third-party services

We use the following services:

• Clerk — authentication and account management
• Railway — database hosting
• Vercel — application hosting
• Anthropic Claude API — offer letter parsing (documents not retained)

Each provider operates under their own privacy policy.

Your rights

If you have an account, you can delete your submissions at any time from the My Submissions page. Deleting a submission permanently removes it from our database.
